The Philadelphia Film Festival is showing Come Drink with Me, Vengance, 36th Chamber of Shaolin, One Armed Swordsman, and Intimate Confessions of a Chinese Courtesan.
Rumor has it that the UCLA show will be coming to New York. I'll keep you posted.

Fluff from February 19th:
Shaw Brothers deputy chairperson, Mona Fong Yat-Wah (right), was on hand yesterday as ground was broken in the Tseung Kwan O district on the new Movie City. Scheduled to open in June 2004, the 48,600 square metre movie production centre will house sound stages, sets, cinemas, post-production facilities and recording studios. Shaw Brothers, Shaw Property Holdings and ChinaStar are the main backers of the HK$1 billion mega-project. When the facility was first proposed back in 2001, Mei Ah, Media Asia and a Taiwanese production company were listed as investors. However, those groups have since dropped out due to the downturn in the Hong Kong movie industry.

Celestial Pictures held a press conference yesterday to announce that they have reached a deal with International Group Holdings Ltd. to distribute their Shaw Brothers library of films on DVD and VCD. The first wave of releases will reach Hong Kong store shelves in December -- just in time for Christmas.

TVB makes tons of historical soap opera episodes each year, all suspiciously similar to Shaw Brothers kung fu movies. You won't hear e complain about it though. 2000 Marks the Start of More Movie Making. Shaw plans on doing more films per year.
In 1995, Shaw started making movies again! "Out of the Dark" (1995) starring Stephen Chow and "Loving You" (1995) starring Lau Ching Wan.
Other films followed in 1997 with 'The Hero' starring Takeshi Kaneshiro and Yuen Biao, 'The King of Masks' and 'Lifeline' starring Lau Ching Wan and Carmen Lee.

The Movie section will give you info on directors and screenshots of several of the films. I want to have a complete listing of Shaw films. I know some of you out there are working on this too. Let me know so we can get together and make it as complete as possible.
