Where are they now??

the 'toad' - LAW MONG [LO MANG] is a HK-TVB extra! He's usually a bad guy of some sort or just plays a small part and gets his butt kicked by some pathetic fool. In my opinion, HE should be the one kicking ass! I've seen him here and there in any small roles, not only martial arts movies. Very SAD! [ed. - he was also in Ebola with Wong Chow-san and Thief of Time in the very beginning.]

In related news, Elaine Ng Yi-Lei (right) will join the cast in a "rippedfrom the headlines" story for the series. Ng will play a female boss whosexually harrasses a underling. The underling will be played by themuscular Lo Meng.]
Oh yeah, last seen in the GOLDEN HARVEST kung fu flick NAUGHTY BOYS and also John Woo's HARD BOILED. [one of the thugs, you never get to really see him clearly though][ed. from fluff in color Sept. 24, 2000]
The muscular Lo Meng and Florence Kwok Siu-Wan promote a programme on TVB's English language station Pearl.

Haven't seen CHIANG SHENG [ed. note - Chiang Sheng passed away from a heart attack] or SUN CHIEN [the scorpion/kicker]...

Used to see WAI PAI [the snake] in some of those ATV series in the mid-80s, but never seen him again either. [ed- he was in Magnificent Butcher and Young Master too but I haven't seen him recently.]

I've seen LUK FUNG [LU FENG] listed as martial art director in some low budget taiwan TV series...but only a couple of times...and that was a while back too.

Oh yeah, the other guy...LIZARD-KWOK CHUI [KUO CHUI] now changed his name to Philip Kwok... I see him listed frequently as martial arts director in alot of TVB series...and a few movies [ie: bride with white hair]...some by John Woo. Actually he also appeared in HARD BOILED. [ed. - Mad Dog in Hardboiled. Rumor has it he was asked to be a villain in a James Bond movie but refused.][He did the action direction and was in a quick cameo as General Chang in "Tomarrow Never Dies". They finally got him on the James Bond movie!][Also in Treasure Hunt with Lui Chia Hui]
